Secure edge of fabric to bolt with a safety pin.

Record how much yardage is on the bolt.    (round down to the nearest full 1/8 yard)

Secure tag to bolt with clear packing tape on the flat side.

We will not be cutting yardage. It will be sold as a full bolt.

Fold neatly and insert into a clear bag or tie securely together. 

Record how much yardage is in each cut. (round down to the nearest  1/8 yard)

Bag neatly taking care that all patterns can be seen.

Do not include any cuts that are less than 2″ square except for precuts.

Describe what is generally included.

Stack or roll neatly so that all fabric or items are easily seen or listed.

Note if it is a full set or if anything is missing from the set.

Bag whenever possible.

We do not accept machines that are broken.

Add any loose pieces, accessories, parts or screws to a clear bag and tape, zip tie or secure to the main piece.  Do not leave any parts or bags loose. Fix tag to flat side of item with packing or painter’s tape in a way that allows people to inspect it without disturbing the tag.

Alternatively, you may insert the tag in a small clear bag and tie bag to machine or furniture so it will not fall off.

Note anything that is missing.

Bag all items that will fit in a bag.

For items that cannot fit in a bag, be sure to fix tag securely with appropriate tape or tie that will not fall off or damage the item.

Make sure any lose accessories that go with each other are bagged, taped or zip tied together, securely.

Mixed lots of items are acceptable.

No thread, yarn or ribbon.

We will hang anything we have space to hang. If you want your quilt or top hung, you must provide a sturdy hanger capable of holding the weight of your item without sag.

Because they will need to be opened up and refolded multiple times, please put your tag in an appropriate size bag. Pin securely to a front corner.

Quilts with moderate damage must be labeled “cutter quilts”. Describe damage in the comments.

Hang all shirts on a hanger buttoned up securely.Pin tag to front of shirt.

Fold sheets neatly. Place tag in a bag and pin to bottom corner of sheet.

Be sure to note size on tag.

Any moderately stained shirts and sheets will be rejected.  Minor staining on cuffs and collars is acceptable.

We will accept novelty gifts and decor with a sewing or quilting theme including, but not limited to…

  • cups, mugs and key chains

Tags must be able to be taped or tied to the item or item must be bagged with a tag taped on front.

We will not accept any items with subject matter that is not family friendly.

You can print on a regular printer or send to a local printer to print actual size (36″x44″) engineering prints. This would be very helpful for laying your fabric out on to quickly measure what size your cut is.
